Heyo! I am the Rat of the Rat's Nest, the webmaster of this place. My name is Andrei, which is a little Internet pseudonym for myself. I am in my early 20s, and I work in the technology industry on the East Coast of the United States. I am nonbinary and consider myself transmasc. Any pronouns are fine by me, but they/them are preferred. Go crazy though.
I got on Neocities in 2025 because I grew very bored with contemporary social media. As I progressed through college, I found myself inching away from the social media spotlight and minimizing my presence on there. It felt uninspired and lifeless, though I still am active to keep up with friends and family. Making a fun little Neocities blog seemed to be the remedy to my media fatigue, so here I am. I plan to use this place as a digital scrapbook of fun media I come across, including media reviews or just snippets about my life.
Like I've mentioned before, I do have a more professional website that I use for networking and resume purposes. This website is completely detached from my professional presence on the Internet in order to let me chatter about my interests and thoughts with as much privacy and freedom as possible.
I have ADHD and BPD, and my hobbies and interests change a LOT! This site may be updated to reflect those shifts and anything new that caught my attention. I love to journal things so don't be surprised at any random entries yapping about them.

On the average day, you can find me dicking around on Neocities, playing my video game hyperfixation of the month, or hitting the gym. Aside from the plethora of things listed below, I'm also interested in learning to garden, economic theory, socialism, social justice movements, environmental justice, and community building and local charity work.
